Victor de Pous

Victor de Pous is a Dutch legal expert, author and strategic advisor specialising in the legal aspects of digitalisation, information technology and data processing. His areas of expertise include privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital sovereignty. Since the 1980s, he has published extensively on the intersection of technology, legislation and societal developments.

De Pous is a co-founder of the KNVI's IT and Law special interest group and has contributed to various publications on digital law and information security. Drawing on his expertise, he examines the legal and governance challenges of digital transformation, including the protection of medical data, digital security and healthcare organisations' dependence on ICT providers.
