ZN

The Dutch healthcare system is internationally recognised for its high-quality care, strong primary care network and regulated competition model. Within this system, Zorgverzekeraars Nederland (ZN) serves as the national association representing all Dutch health insurers and healthcare purchasing organisations.

ZN works at the intersection of healthcare, policy and innovation, bringing together health insurers, healthcare providers, government, patient organisations and industry partners to help shape a sustainable healthcare system. The organisation supports collaboration on key challenges including digital transformation, integrated care, prevention, data availability, interoperability, workforce sustainability and the implementation of innovations that improve healthcare delivery.

As healthcare systems worldwide face growing pressure from ageing populations, increasing demand and workforce shortages, ZN actively contributes to the development of scalable solutions that combine quality, accessibility and affordability. By connecting financing, policy and innovation, the organisation helps create the conditions needed to move successful healthcare innovations beyond pilots and into routine practice.

As a member of the ICT&health Innovation Partner Group and partner of the ICT&health World Conference, Zorgverzekeraars Nederland contributes its expertise in healthcare transformation, financing, digital health and collaborative innovation. Together with healthcare providers, policymakers, researchers and technology partners, ZN supports the exchange of knowledge and best practices that strengthen healthcare systems both nationally and internationally.
